SATURDAY

Seminar 1: Faithful to the Bible in a cancel culture

We live in a rapidly changing world, and the truths of the Bible are increasingly being questioned. In this seminar, the Bible is presented as God’s timeless and eternal message to the modern and restless human being. Stefan Swärd is known as a pastor and public voice who does not compromise on the truth, while at the same time meeting those who think differently with great humility and respect.

Seminar 2: Christian faith and new spirituality

Do you long for a deeper relationship with God? Then you are not alone. But instead of finding the answers in Christian faith, more and more people are turning to new spirituality and mysticism, meditation and yoga. Different forms of these are increasingly offered in Christian contexts and in Christian variants. This seminar is for you who want to be up to date with what we can call the new Christian spirituality. What is compatible with Christian faith, and what is not? One of the keys to understanding and responding to these practices is to understand the gospel - what does the Bible teach us? You will also better understand what the Bible teaches about trying and responding to different forms of spirituality.

Afternoon meeting: TED talks about faith and contemporary culture
(short 15-minute talks that share ideas and provide inspiration)

Speaker
Stefan Swärd: Why invest in the church?
Anna Korkman Lopes: Why invest in the family?
Markus Österlund: Why should we help others?
